Shigeru Uchida (Japanese: 内田茂; kana: うちだ しげる; 15 March 1939 – 21 December 2022) was a Japanese politician.[1][2]
He was seven times elected for Liberal Democratic Party as a member of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly in periods between 1989 and 2017. He was chairman of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly between 2003 and 2005.[1]
Uchida died in Tokyo on 21 December 2022, at the age of 83.[1][2]
