I am not sure that Native Americans called alcohol "firewater" for the reason given. Is it not more likely because it burns, or because it burns the throat? This statement should be removed unless we have a refce for it. I think this page needs cleanup and to be made simple. Sue W 22:52, 14 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
