"fifth president since 2024"[change source]

The writer of this article means to say that Faye is the fifth president of Senegal, and he was elected in 2024. Instead the phrase "fifth president since 2024" means Senegal has had five presidents since 2024, and Faye is the fifth.

A better wording in simple English would be "After his election in 2024, Faye was sworn in as Senegal's fifth president." 71.196.173.147 (talk) 21:06, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
