"The resistivity of a substance is equal to the resistance of a rod of that substance which is 1 metre long and 1 square metre in cross-section."--Please add tag (source needed), if that is needed.--Also, please check if that paragraph is a simple idea: if not then please say so, on the talk page.--Also, please check if that paragraph should remain in this article.
