Description of probability amplitudes is unclear[change source]

It seems to be that the description of how probability amplitudes are calculated for Feynman diagrams is unnecessarily verbose and therefore quite unclear, especially this long-winded sentence: "When you multiply the probability amplitude for the lines, the amplitude for the particles to go from wherever they start to wherever they meet, and to the next meeting point, and so on, and also multiply by the amplitude for each meeting point, you get a number that tells you the total amplitude for the particles to do what the diagram says they do." I think this should be rephrased - I don't think even an educated layperson who's native language is English would understand this! Harry585 (talk) 09:24, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
