Hello Feminism and Folklore 2024 contestant. I will begin this preliminary evaluation by running the text of this article through my readability gizmo. It is giving me results as young as sixth grade with an average of eighth.

I will now read it with my squishy human brain. This could be simpler. Phrases like "popular," "it is most well-known," "it is believed..."

"It's more of a [adjective] dance..." isn't simple so much as informal. A simple English reader might see "more" and wonder "more than what?" It's a normal idiom in spoken English, but it's something an English learner might find confusing.

You don't need to link to the same other article more than once per article. The purpose of linking is to provide a link, not to highlight nouns and verbs. It's also not clear why you would link to articles like "boy" and "girl." "Anthropologist" is a good choice, but I'd recommend "Many [[anthropology|[explanation of what an anthropologist is in the context of this article]]..."

Good choice of topic. However, I observe there is only one incoming link, from Indonesia. What makes an orphan article is what links in, not what links out.Darkfrog24 (talk) 22:57, 17 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
