The name of "Camprodon" is originally (and still nowadays) written as that, Camprodon. The stressed form "Camprodón" is the name that, like many others, the fascist dictator Francisco Franco of Spain put to many Catalan cities and villages to "spanize" them. When you use this invented form you give support to a fascist regime.
