Note c has some wrong information[change source]

""an acceleration of 1 m/s2 can also be expressed as a rate of change in velocity of precisely 3.6 kilometres per second squared (8,100 mph/s).""

Thats not true, 1m/s squared is a change in velocity of 3.6 km/h squared, not seconds. If i would walk 1 m from a standstill in one second, i will rather have the speed of 3.6kmh than 3.6km/s (12 960 kmh) and would have moved 3.6km in that time rather than 1m which is a contradiction in itself. I hope i made that point obvious enough. He could have said its a change in velocity of 3.6km/h per second, maybe thats what he wanted to say in the first place.

Can somebody change that please? I have never edited in wikipedia and dont easily get how i should edit the note, because im only able to edit the article itself not the linked notes.. 2A01:598:B1B2:D678:59CE:CE44:20AE:1659 (talk) 10:56, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The article was certainly wrong. But although 1 meter per second is 3.6 kilometers per hour, 1 meter per second squared is actually 12960 kilometers per hour squared. I removed that sentence because I don't think km/h2 is a very common unit. Anybody else can add the correct conversion if they think it IS commonly used.
