@Gindomarlo: Generally a more recent image is preferred as it gives a more accurate description of the person. Is there a particular reason you think this image is "higher quality"? If you mean on a technical level that probably doesn't matter as both images are fine and aren't grainy at all. There's also a reason the 9000 one is used on more wikis.
