"They are an important part of the country's culture. This is why they have received special rights from the Government of New Zealand." is questionable! Any suggestions for rewording so it doesn't sound like there are no Māori in govt and also get 'special treatment'? I mean, of course we try to honour Te Tiriti/The Treaty but that shouldn't be 'special rights' TreeReader (talk) 15:54, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
