Well, At this time en:Miss Grand International on English Wikipedia, it not the same as the 2017 version at all, right now the article on English Wikipedia is still available and has already been accepted by English wikipedia editors with B-Class on content assessment in en:Talk:Miss Grand International.

Furthermore, Miss Grand International has already been accepted at the international level. You can reach out to the references in this article. All the sources are notable sources, not from a fan-page or blogger sites.

"Passing mention" about the contest? The stuff above reminds me when local newspapers write about who has won a set of steak-knives in a raffle.--It also reminds me about when national newspapers (but not a Japanese one), writing about musicians/singers (non-Japanese) who have become "Big in Japan (euphemism)".--Anyway, what is wiki-notable about the mentioned contest?? 2001:2020:327:8F43:C9E9:816:3364:E9B3 (talk) 11:38, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
