Simplified[change source]

I noted what you said about it been copied from another Wikipedia website, I tried to change what I could when I first made it but could not change to much, I have now simplified it more, and plan to simplify it more. I did not understand what you meant by advertisement, but decided to remove some of the regimental information. If you could expand apon what you meant that would be nice. I try to do what I can for simple Wikipedia, and did not mean for this to be unhelpful. I will also add more links and pictures soon. Lolcats20 (talk) 13:33, 22 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I patrolled the article and found it too close to the original article at Enwiki which is why I nominated it for deletion. Because Simple English Wikipedia is designed for those new to the English language, children, etc., we need to use simple sentences and simpler words. Where we cannot express an idea using simple words we use internal links to other articles explaining the word, concept or thing. Articles also have links to Simple English Wiktionary. In addition to a need to be simplified, per Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, Wikipedia is not "a vehicle for advertising. There is sometimes a fine line between an article about something and an article written to promote something. I thought this crossed the line and wanted an administrator to take a look at it. You have made many good contributions here and are a member of this community. By copying, pasting, simplifying and attributing articles from other Wikipedias, you are not doing anything wrong—you are making helpful contributions. Most if not all of us have had articles deleted before. You are learning your craft the same way we all learn (and continue to learn) here. But if you can simplify the article and make it less like advertising that may solve the problem. If not, and an administrator decides to delete it, you can always copy the article to your sandbox and work on it there. Then resubmit it when you feel it is ready.
