In NHK, there are abnormally many staffs arrested by sexual crimes and others; for example molester, obscene, stealthily video-shooting, larceny including underwear thief, and embezzlement. At last in February 2017, a male reporter habitually raping was arrested, and in March a fresh arrest warrant that was related to a similar crime was issued. In response to this, NHK said that it apologised again to the victims and its customers.

Also, it turned out that NHK Educational TV had mediated school girls to a popular male entertainer. One of the school girls, who were participating in the educational TV program he hosted, was called to his home, forcibly suffered a kiss and was attacked. She had to escape to the toilet and avoid sexual injuries. NHK reported this fact more than two months after the incident. The news of NHK was 18 hours before the case's rapist would be sentenced. Using this commotion, NHK did not report anything about the judicial decision of the rapist belonged to NHK. In addition, NHK implied the possibility of claims for damages on the office to which the entertainer belongs, and had disguised of a victim.

NHK often features extraordinary swindlers as heroes of the times on one hour's TV program, and later or just before of broadcast, the falsehoods are revealed by other media or police force. The case of Samuragochi was reported with surprise by overseas media also. On the other hand, NHK will criticize certain individuals until committing suicide.

Sexual harassment, Power harassment and Casting couch

There are many female announcers employed under term contracts; male announcers are regular employees all. Those female announcers and weather casters are sometimes scooped in magazines; for the photos of their casting couch scenes. Casting couch are suspected even to female regular employees because there is no integrity between personnel allocations and competencies; a case of weather caster, the paparazzi began to track her, due to the unnatural personal placement of NHK.

NHK's producers made female announcers look like "Oiran" which was a high class prostitute in the Edo period, or Cleopatra of when had wrapped herself in a sheet and presented herself to Antonius. Those behaviors to ignore human rights and personality rights are prominent in the Osaka branch broadcaster.
