Attempt at simplification[change source]

Hi. I attempted to simplify this based on the lead from English Wikipedia. I do not know how successful I was at that. (I have also added pictures that I think might be useful, but would probably be more useful if I was simplifying the whole article, and not just the lead.) It still needs full sourcing.
