Talk:Qatar–Saudi Arabia diplomatic conflict

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is the start of a new Wikipedia page in Simple English. Although a similar page exists in the English Wikipedia, the Simple English page has only been generated as a stub. It is up to us to fill this article, and most importantly fining sources to fill the article with. To start investigating, I have set out some ground rules for the sources:

  • Because there is a diplomatic crisis, using sources published by either party, or by a proxy power to influence opinions must be used with caution
  • News sites will only be used if other sources are unavailable. These must always be checked if reliable -> just published, or longer in existence? Flash news, or relevant news?
  • Sources must be used in support of a statement made in the article, and cited accordingly
  • If a better source is available to use, this better source must be used
  • Citations must be made after direct quote or figure

Finding Sources[change source]

Below will be a list of sources, which will be filled as investigation continues. A draft will not be typed directly in the talk page, but rather filled in a sandbox. If sentences begin to form here, the wikipedia page will slowly be filled to register edits, rather than just an insertion of a chunk of text

A lot of references which cross-referenced to the English Wikipedia page, instead of the Simple English wikipedia page have been removed, presumably by bots. I will try and figure out If it is possible to keep the references in the text, or else try and remove them
