@WeatherWriter Some speculating to look into. This one most is most likely to have gave had other groups, it was never part of the original plan. They heard the noise and saw an opportunity. There is footage of at least some guys who look like Hamas who seem to be here. But there were even allegedly some organised crime gangs somewhere. One woman who wasn't released with the others was taken here, she was taken by someone, not mentioned for months, then suddenly appears in Hamas custody recently. - I changed Hamas-led to Hamas-initiated. Led implies some sort of organised leadership, but one of the more informed critiques of the day is that they didn't show leadership. This location in particular was kind of a chaotic mess.
- They planned a careful military operation and simultaneously called for a popular uprising (auto dub of a snippet from the speech announcing the attack), and their military operation also somewhat disintegrated.
- Also, connect us that statement in the clip is very much aimed at attacks on Israel / defectors from PA, there have been half a dozen defectors from PA.
