@Zlgll: I have learned my lesson and will not mark this "no points" until after there's been due time for improvements. There are some problems with this as a contest entry: 1) This article is in regular English, not simple English. My readability gizmo puts it at high school level and I'd like to see it no harder to read than middle school. Language-wise, this would be fine if you put it on the regular English Wikipedia. 2) I notice there is only one source. I can't read in Cyrillic, so I don't know if it's independent or not. Can you tell us more? Darkfrog24 (talk) 16:15, 16 February 2023 (UTC)
- Darkfrog24 I simplified the language. Sultanmuratova studies Bashkir folklore, so the English-speaking reader does not know yet. The Russian Internet is full of information about her in Bashkir and Russian. Here is one source in English [1]/--Zlgll (talk) 17:39, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- I'm still getting "hard to read" on my gizmo. Care to give it another go? I'd especially like to see not the gizmo's but rather SEWP's own idea of simple English: lots of active voice and few non-literal expressions. Darkfrog24 (talk) 19:27, 28 March 2023 (UTC)
