This could use a paragraph, maybe the second paragraph, on what other animals sheep are related to, and basic biology entry. Also it could use an external link to the more complete animal entries at the Full English Wikipedia, and of course other language Wikipedias. Remember that very often it will be another language the person is most comfortable in!

The advanced terms behaviour, heredity, predator, bellwether, outlier and clone, seem hard to avoid. They will pop up over and over again in biology. But as per the strategy at Simple English Staging, such terms should never be in early paragraphs, and never introduced as part of the most essential information.

As it is, this article stages nicely, with the essential stuff in the early paragraphs. If they find the going too difficult in the middle, they can stop reading, and it won't really stop them from understanding the significance of sheep as a metaphor.
