I find the initial discussion of color to be confusing and misplaced. This entry should begin with a description of what a white dwarf star is - a star that has run out of fuel and has collapsed. Then the color explanation would make more sense - a white dwarf may not always be white - it was so named by the first discoverers, but actually the color will depend on how hot the star is.
