Usage[change source]
This template adds a long hidden comment to the page in order to prevent the page from being inappropriately listed on Special:Shortpages. This template is commonly used on pages which otherwise only consist of a very small template such as a redirect to a Wiktionary page.
In order to work properly, this template must always be used via substitution, like this:
{{subst:longcomment}}
