Template:R from diacritic/doc

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Usage[change source]

 • Add this rcat to a redirect in the following manner:
#REDIRECT (target page name)

and when the redirect is in article mainspace, printworthiness should also be tagged:
#REDIRECT (target page name)

Template Rcat shell is an alias for the Redirect category shell template, which may be used to add as many appropriate rcats as needed, usually from one to seven, along with their parameters, to a redirect. For more information see the documentation on its template page. This rcat may also tag a redirect individually:
#REDIRECT (target page name)

R from diacritic
This is in accord with instructions found at WP:REDCAT.
 • Use this rcat on any redirect with diacritical marks (accents, umlauts, etc.) to essentially the same page name that does not have diacritical marks.
 • By default, this template places redirects in the Unprintworthy redirects category. To tag and categorize a redirect as "printworthy", type the addition printworthy in the following manner:

or
printworthy
R printworthy
That will suppress the unprintworthy category and place the redirect in Category:Printworthy redirects.

Sorting in the category[change source]

Sort these redirects with . That will make these redirects much easier to find in the Redirects from titles with diacritics category. Be sure to use a colon ( : ) rather than a pipe ( | } after "DEFAULTSORT" in order to directly access the magic word.
