Usage[change source]
The text of the template can be customised by using the |text= parameter. Not specifying any text will give the default message (seen above). This template also uses the {{lang}} meta-template to specify the language of the message. If your message is in English, you don't need to specify this. If your message is in a language other than English, use the |lang= parameter and specify the language's ISO 639 language code.
To make your own custom message, use {{Retired|lang=en|text=YOUR MESSAGE HERE}}
