Recommend adding a warning[change source]

I came to this page when, in the course of editing a standard English Wikipedia (if that is what you call it) page, I did a Google search for something like "Wikipedia citation template for record album liner notes."

Since Google brought me to it and the page layout is nearly identical, I didn't notice this template was from Simple English Wikipedia (and didn't even know that such a different Wiki existed) until well after I had tried to use this template in a standard English Wikipedia page, and got a bunch of error messages. In the standard English Wikipedia, this template has been superseded (by "AV media notes"), some parameters (eg, "artist," "publisherid") have have been deprecated, others (eg, "format") have different meanings than those stated on this page, and another ("url") is mandatory contrary to what this page says (when "format" is used).

I went to the Wikipedia help desk, got some help, and then eventually figured out that my problem was that I was trying to use a template from Simple English Wikipedia on the standard English Wikipedia, where it is obsolete.

To avoid others similarly wasting their time in the future, I suggest adding a clear & highly visible warning at the top of this page that this template should not be used on the standard English Wikipedia, where it is obsolete and will give error messages.

Thanks.
