Level 3[change source]

Why is this only on level 3? Why isn't there a uw-cyberbully level 1, 2, 4, or 4im? πr2 (talk • changes) 00:31, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Good question. If you read Wikipedia:Cyberbullying it may help explain it. Briefly, the research on cyberbullying shows that it can be extremely harmful to the victim. A quick response is needed to remove it, and to stop it. Usually it will happen in a situation where the victim can see it immediately, such as in class. Our policy is to suppress the edit as soon as possible, and give one warning. A second offence would (or could) result in an immediate short block, maybe 1-2 hours. Repeat and long term offenders would come under normal blocking guidelines. In this case it is to protect the victim, and deny the bully an audience. So. the Level 3 warning here is enough.--Peterdownunder (talk) 01:13, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I read the page, but it seems like 4im would also make sense, πr2 (talk • changes) 01:18, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
