"The Day Before the Revolution" is a science fiction short story by American writer Ursula K. Le Guin, first published in 1974.

It is a short story that happens before the story in the novel The Dispossessed. The main character is "Odo". She is the woman who led the revolution that started the anarchist society in The Dispossessed.[1]
