The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy, also known simply as Billy & Mandy, is an animated series. It was created by Maxwell Atoms. It was originally shown on Cartoon Network. It began on June 13, 2003 and ended on October 12, 2008.

The show is about the Grim Reaper, who has been forced to forever be the best friend of two children, Billy and Mandy. Together, the three of them come across different kinds of supernatural beings, places, and situations.

The directors of the episodes included Juli Murphy, Robert Alvarez, Brain Sheesley, Shaun Cashman, Eddy Houchins, Sue Perrotto, Randy Myers, John McIntyre, Phil Cummings, Matt Engstrom, Kris Sherwood, and Russell Calabrese.

Characters

The Grim Reaper - The 137,000-year-old skeletal spirit of death with a Jamaican accent who is the leader of the Monster Staff. He wears a black cloak and carries a scythe. Usually just called "Grim" by Billy and Mandy, he is forced to deal with their antics and desires.
Billy - A boy with a red baseball cap, a blue and white striped t-shirt, denim pants and white and red sneakers. Billy is foolish and usually joyful.
Mandy - A girl with a pink dress with a patch in the shape of a yellow flower, white socks and black brogues. Mandy is fearless and not very expressive.
Irwin - Billy's close friend who wears glasses with yellow t-shirt, green pants, dark red bow tie and black shoes. Irwin is scared by the supernatural events in the show more often than his friends are.
