The Haunting is a 1963 British horror movie. It is based on novel The Haunting of Hill House The movie is about a small group of people who come to a haunted house that comes to life. Julie Harris plays Eleanor. Claire Bloom plays Theodora. Richard Johnson plays Dr. Markway. It was released on 16 September 1963.
This movie was remade in 1999. Many critics did not like the remake.
