The Sea of Grass

The Sea of Grass is a 1947 American western drama movie directed by Elia Kazan and was based on the 1936 novel of the same name by Conrad Richter. It stars Spencer Tracy, Katharine Hepburn, Robert Walker, Melvyn Douglas, Phyllis Thaxter, Edgar Buchanan, Harry Carey, Russell Hicks and was distributed by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer.
