The plain (also known as Il piano di Macugnaga) is a 19th-century late impressionist painted in oil 190 x 110 centimetres by Francesco Filippini. It was painted in 1892, in Milano, Italy. Is in the collection of the Province of Milano, which bought it on 22 January 1893, previously owned by the Museo della Permanente in Milan from 1892 to 1893.
