Thelma Ritter

Thelma Ritter (14 February 1902 – 5 February 1969) was an American actress. She played comedic roles. She received six Academy Award nominations and won one Tony Award. Her notable movies included All about Eve in 1950 and Titanic in 1953. Ritter also played some dramatic roles, the most notable of were in With a Song in My Heart, and in The Misfits.

Ritter was born in New York City. She died there due to a heart attack, nine days before her 67th birthday.
