Thomas G. Carpenter

Thomas Glenn Carpenter (February 27, 1926 – January 6, 2021) was an American educator and university administrator. He was the founding President of the University of North Florida (UNF) from 1969 to 1980, and was President of Memphis State University from 1980 to 1991.

Carpenter died on January 6, 2021 at the age of 94.[1]
