Tom Henry

Thomas Christopher Henry[1] (November 8, 1951 – March 28, 2024) was an American businessman and politician. He was the 35th Mayor of Fort Wayne, Indiana from 2008 until his death in 2024. He the city's longest-serving mayor. Henry was a member of the Democratic Party. He was born in Fort Wayne.

In 1975, Henry married Cindy Kocks. They had two children. Kocks died of cancer in January 2024.[2]

In late February 2024, Henry announced that he had been diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer.[3] He died a month later on March 28 under hospice care in Fort Wayne, at the age of 72.[4]
