Tong Binggang

Tong Binggang (Chinese: 童秉纲; pinyin: Tóng Bǐnggāng; September 28, 1927 – July 9, 2020) was a Chinese physicist.[1] He was an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He was born in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu. In 1961, he was transferred to the University of Science and Technology of China, where he was promoted to full professor in 1981.[2]

Tong died on 9 July 2020 in Beijing, aged 92.[2]
