Tony Vaccaro

Tony Vaccaro (born Michelantonio Celestino Onofrio Vaccaro; December 20, 1922 - December 28, 2022[1]) is an American photographer. He is best known for his World War II photos taken in Europe during 1944 and 1945, and in Germany after World War II. He later became a fashion and lifestyle photographer for American magazines. Vaccaro was born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.[2]
