Twilio (/ˈtwɪlioʊ/) is an American company based in San Francisco, California. It provides programmable communication tools. Twilio uses Amazon Web Services to host its communication infrastructure via APIs.[1] Their services making and receiving phone calls, sending and receiving text messages, and performing other communication functions using its web service APIs.
