Uproxx (stylized in all caps) is a news website covering entertainment and popular culture in the United States. Jarret Myer and Brian Brater founded it in 2008, and Woven Digital (later known as Uproxx Media Group) purchased it in 2014. Men ages 18 to 34 make up the site's intended audience.[1] It was obtained by Warner Music Group in August 2018, with Myer and CEO Benjamin Blank remaining in control of the company's operations.[2]
