The Romans belived there was a god for everything. They believed the gods were like people with magical powers. The Romans thought that everything that went wrong was due to the people not worshipping the gods properly. They worshipped so many because they believed that each one watches over a different activity during the day.They worshipped so many because they also believed that they will heal them and protect them from evil influences.
