My name is Lisa Gehman Thorne, and I'm a math and computer applications teacher at West Hollywood Community Day School, and the web designer for http://www.hstutorials.net.

I am a prinicpal writer of the Algebra 1 in Simple English, a simple english wikibook that will be the backbone of a complete student-user interface for studying algebra.

I will be giving a presentation on how to contribute to the project at the California Mathematics Council - North Annual Conference in Pacific Grove, California on December 1 - 3.
