Appaloosa: Appaloosa is a horse breed that stem from North America and are most popular for their dotted color, called brindled. The name comes from the area Palouse in Northwest, USA. From the start was the name ”A Palouse horse” that then abbreviate to ”Appaloosa. The breed was bred by Indian tribe Nez Perce from Idaho.

Properties: The Appaloosa is 145-150 cm withers height. Appaloosan is popular as a riding horse, in cattle, but also in the circus. In the USA also used Appaloosas in gallop sport. The Appaloosa capacity is their dotted color. Their eyes can be brown, blue or light brown. Sometimes the Appaloosa have different colored eyes.
