Edi Dubien, born in 1963 in Issy-les-Moulineaux, is a French contemporary painter .

He was born in 1963 in Issy-les-Moulineaux [1] .
He was self-taught and began by working on war photography and chainsaw portraits. [2][3]
He then made many portraits in watercolor and acrylic [3] . The complexions are faded, and the paintings mix voids and solids [3] .
Her work questions the notions of gender, identity and nature [2] . He is influenced by the discrimination and invisibilization experienced as a trans man, by the feminist Donna Haraway, Guillaume Apollinaire and Arthur Rimbaud [1] , [3] .

He exhibited at Mac Lyon in 2021, at the Art Paris fair in 2022, and at MAC VAL the same year [4] .
