Sathio (Sindhi: سٺيو, Urdu: سٹھیو) is a Sindhi tribe mainly in district Tando Muhammad Khan, Sindh. There are some families in Karachi, Hyderabad, Thatta as well as in India and the UK. Tribal elders believe that they are the descendants of “Indo-Scythians”. Most of the villages of sathio community are well facilitated with electricity, gas. Water supply, hospital, schools, their major source of income is agriculture, people are well educated, most of them r working in various government& private sectors , some of them r also working abroad in Saudi Arabia, united kingdom, ect.
