Golekar Rushikesh Baburao received B.Sc. degree from Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University Nanded, Maharashtra in 2008 and M.Sc. (Geology) degree from Institute of Science, Aurangabad, in 2010. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon in 2014 under the supervision of Dr. Mukund Baride. Golekar Rushikesh started his teaching career in 2015 as a Assistant Professor in Department of Civil Engineering, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Islampur District Sangli. Presently Dr. R. B. Golekar is working as an Assistant Professor (Geology) in Guhagar Education Society’s G.B. Tatha Tatyasaheb Khare Commerce, Parvatibai Gurupad Dhere Art’s and Shri. Mahesh Janardan Bhosale Science College, Guhagar Dist. Ratnagiri. His principal research topic is groundwater exploration, groundwater geochemistry and hydro-geomorphology.

He has credited 28 Research Articles in International & National Journals and 04 Research Articles published in International conferences. He is life member of Indian Water Resources Society. He has served as reviewer for various international journals such as Earth Sciences Research Journal (University of Colombia), Arabian Journal of Geosciences (Springer), Journal of Geochemical Exploration (Elsevier), Environmental and Earth sciences (Springer), Water Quality Exposure and Health (Springer), Sustainable Water Resources Management (Springer) and International conference on Water Resource and Environment (WRE2016).
