Scanna, or Scott, does work on the English Wikipedia, and likes the idea of the Simple English Wikipedia too. He came here to try and make it a little more complete, and to get better at writing articles in full English, and using Wikicode. This is the third wiki site that he is a member of; he is on English Wikipedia and the Homestar Runner Wiki. He uses the name Scanna on both.

He currently wants to work on the page (or maybe pages) for the University of St Andrews, because he doesn't think they are very good at the moment - they look over 100 years out of date! He also is interested in making changes to articles on theology and about theologians, as he studies this at university. After he has done some of this, he may put in articles about other things he likes, like music and bands, Novels/books, computer and video games, and rifle shooting.

Scanna is not the greatest wikipedian ever. He is not very good at using code - he can't make a table that works - and he sometimes finds it hard to link things correctly. He would like people to be kind and patient with him. He is learning quickly, though. Sometimes he will have to change a page two or even more times to make only a simple change. He hopes he will not be in the New changes page too much!

Scanna likes to fix major problems, like double redirects and pages that do not link. He is wondering what he can do to reduce the number of orphan pages. There are lots and lots of these - this page shows how many. Right now, there are over 1300 which could be fixed with some effort.

He does not like using the word 'I' on his userpage.
