STANEGARTH THE SHIPWRECK

Did you know that stanegarth was brought to a place named stoney cove and the ship was used as a project in association with a magazine called diver? Stanegarth was originally made in 1910 which was planned to be used as a steam powered tug by a company called Lytham Ship Builders co. ltd from Liverpool and believe it or not Stanegarth is older than the Titanic ! A couple of months later it was converted into diesel power including the addition of an enclosed wheel house in 1957.
