Setting out pages nicely[change source]

You asked a question on the Bernie Sander's article talk page about how to set out text and pictures neatly. The answer depends on how you are editing your page. There are tabs at the top of every page, and two called "change" (except on talk pages). One tab is called "Change" and the other is called "Change source". With "Change" you can click on a picture. It will have a label with media, and the name of the picture file. There will also be an edit button. Clicking on "edit" will bring up the caption box for adding or changing text under the picture. On the left side of the edit box is a text saying "Advanced settings". Clicking on this will bring up more layout options such as text wrap around, picture size, and more. The best way to find out how all this works is to make a work page, and try it out.--Peterdownunder (talk) 06:40, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make a work page, there is a link to do this in the welcome message at the top of this page - a big blue triangle. Clicking on the link below this will allow you to create your very own work page to experiment on, and make changes to see how things work. These are also called sandboxes. This is the best way to learn. Use a work page as experimenting on article pages will get you into trouble. if you need help to do any of this please leave a message below. --Peterdownunder (talk) 06:43, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
