Requests for Deletion
[change source]Hi. Please do not close requests for deletion as delete, as you did here. Only an administrator can delete pages, and it is up to them to determine the results of RfD discussions and to delete pages. Thanks. --Gordonrox24 | Talk 00:02, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Gordonrox24: I guess that's what normal Wikipedia calls BADNAC. Now I see why people have problems when I close AfDs.--JTZegers (talk) 00:08, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- I believe you already know why people do not like you closing discussions. Please note that this Wikipedia does have a one strike rule when it comes to people who are blocked on the English Wikipedia. While your block there has been removed, one of the conditions of this unblock is clearly stated, "Within any namespace, you will not close any discussions, period". If you continue the negative behavior that got you blocked on EN at this Wikipedia, you will most likely end up blocked here. I would suggest following your conditions closely here as well, it would serve you well, and we would be happy to welcome a content contributor here. --Gordonrox24 | Talk 00:20, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Gordonrox24:, first of all, I was reblocked because one of my other conditions was that I wouldn't go onto another user's talk page, but thanks for welcoming me back. I've been making good edits on Wikivoyage and here after learning my lesson, and I'm sure I'll be back in November.--JTZegers (talk) 00:24, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- Also, I was supposed to have a mentor a long time ago but he immediately retired from Wikipedia.--JTZegers (talk) 15:45, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
- Right, ok. I assumed you were still unblocked. As that is not not case, our one strike rule is fully in force. Please abide by the rules, as you won't have chances here. --Gordonrox24 | Talk 21:26, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
