Croydon Airport Page[change source]

@LoopZilla: Hello LoopZilla, I’m new to Wikipedia and I hope that I’ve going about messaging you in the right way. I been updating the Croydon Airport page which needs a fair amount of work. I’m also struggling in how to add in different types of cross referencing. Please advise the following:-

- I worked out how to add a book into the bibliography. How do I add in a cross reference on the above Wiki page to the book?

- There may be multiple references to particular books. Is it necessary to cross reference each sentence or paragraph on the Wiki page to a book.

- The Croydon Airport page is very poorly laid out. Lympne Airport is a much better layout. Is it acceptable and also possible to edit the Croydon Airport page to Lympne Airport page?

- Lympne Airport has joint history and references to the Croydon Airport (there were both government operated airports). Is it acceptable to use text and references from the Lympne Airport page for the Croydon Airport page.

Thanks for your help. WhispyHistory suggested I contact you.

Regards

Airport Historian

I cannot help much at the moment. On a Wiki Break. Yes, you can use the references on both pages. It should be made clear that the text has been copied. Is this on the main English Page, or Simple English? LoopZilla (talk) 18:13, 16 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
