That's all I've seen for the moment. Also, some sentences are quite long, I'll try and make them shorter. Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 20:25, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comments. I hadn't noticed these things; I am no native speaker of English so I sometimes find it difficult to find the right words. If you have the time, I would appreciate it if you would help me out here. It is quite a list you came up with in such a short ammount of time, but I am sure it is nothing that can't be fixed easily. More GA review[change source]

  • Some dates are linked some not. I think unlink all.
  • Why is "Arumer Zwarte Hoop" in italics?
  • occupied easy?
  • Reference one, two, five and six should have an ISBN number
  • Reference 4 should be fixed (accessdate, etc)
  • What is reference 9? A book. This cite is a bit odd

That's all now. Barras (talk) 18:03, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Active voice[change source]

We could make the first sentence in Wijerd_Jelckama#Death more active if we knew "who" captured him. "So and so captured...". Unfortunatly, I have a hard time translating the reference. Any help? :) Best, NonvocalScream (talk) 01:10, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

He (Jelckama) was captured after losing a battle. He was greatly outnumbered (most of his soldiers had already been killed in previous battles) and did not stand a chance. It was a Habsburg army, a Landsknecht Regiment (Black Band) to be precise. Ironically, this regiment was the same Black Band that his uncle was after to avenge the death of his wife and son by their hands. Mighty Wodan (talk) 06:13, 12 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
So the "Habsburg army" captured him? Best, NonvocalScream (talk) 00:59, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, they captured him. Hope that helps. Mighty Wodan (talk) 06:22, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It does, I'll reword later. :) Thanks, NonvocalScream (talk) 11:38, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
