What happened to Orain??

Carrie (2002 movie)[change source]

Hi Receptie. Re: the RfD discussion, this was a bit lengthy and I thought it better to mention here. I did some looking into this to see if it could be saved by some reliable source citations. First, the enwiki article does not really claim notability either. The Daily Telegraph called it "a pale copy of the classic 1970s horror movie" and the ending "a half-baked anti-climactic effect." It did not help that it followed a flopped version on Broadway. Rotten Tomatoes gave it 2½ stars and Metacritic did not even rate it. Variety magazine was kinder, but gave it a lukewarm review. It said: "For her part, Moretz can scarcely be blamed for falling short of one of the most iconic performances in horror cinema…" It excused the performance saying more or less Spacek was a hard act to follow. The movie was intended to lead into a TV series, but was cancelled. I'm sure there must be some better reviews, but this is harder to show as notable without selectively avoiding several negative critics.
