I am Dr. Robert Scott Kellner, the grandson of Friedrich Kellner, the German diarist. I am the translator of the diary into English. I will be happy to answer any questions or provide any information about this Kellner article. I can be contacted by email: use the "E-mail this user" link on the left side of this page. --Rskellner 23:52, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Rskellner, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia! I hope you will be happy helping here. You should begin by reading these pages: Wikipedia:Useful, Help:Contents, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, and how to write Simple English articles. If you want some ideas of which pages to work on, read Wikipedia:Requested articles or the list of wanted pages.

Even though it is a good idea to research an article (like looking at the discussion page) before making large changes, please be bold and try! Any changes you make that are not perfect can be fixed later. We are also working most on core articles and the most common topics until this Wikipedia grows.

If you want to ask a question or talk with other members, you can visit our version of the "village pump" at Wikipedia:Simple talk. Administrators on Wikipedia can also help you with more difficult problems. You can also ask me for help. The best way to do that is to leave a message on my talk page. You should always sign your messages on Talk pages by typing "~~~~" (four tildes) at the end of your words.

Good luck and happy editing! PullToOpenTalk 23:55, 17 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Friedrich Kellner and Friedrich Kellner Diary[change source]

There is a lot of common data between these two articles. It would be good if Friedrich Kellner Diary was only about the diary, and Friedrich Kellner only about the person. Best regards. --Rimshot 17:46, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I took your advice and removed most of the elements about the diary that were in the biographical page. I removed some entire sections. And I took out some of the biographical elements that were in the diary page. On the biography page, though, I did leave the information about the important entry of October 28, 1941, even though this same entry is on the diary page. Thanks for your help with this. I appreciate it. Scott--Rskellner 18:31, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's nice to see someone take the effort to write good articles here. Now what's left is to try to make the language used a bit simpler. Maybe I'll do some of that in the following days. --Rimshot 19:44, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When I first established these two pages, I made them simpler than the versions on English Wikipedia, but anything you can do to simplify them even more would be great. I'll try to work on them again myself, but it may be a few days before I'll have time to do that. Thanks, Scott --Rskellner 20:16, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
